napola jacke [hj dj]

hi guys

i have been offerd this napola jacket.

what do you think of it as i have no idea of originality or not?

No markings only 4 buttons marked dj hj at front with swastika like motif
and no triangle but a armband like stitching line

Hi Jacob, this is not a NAPOLA jacke.

The cut and colours are wrong, as it the shoulder straps.

I suspect this jacke is post war West German in origin.

Prewar NPEA tunics were worn in political brown. During the war, the color changed to an olive drab. Attached are pictures of a prewar student's tunic, a late wartime leader's tunic and a high leader's war time mantel. Note on the prewar tunic that the proper piping for the NPEA is white. Red is for the general HJ.

is there also a zigzag pattern at the back of the collar of a hj tunic or does this tunic have an other type of stitching and are they marked inside? if so what is the most found makers

These jackets keep turning up on ebay DE. As the others have said they are not period. These are props from the film Napola. They turn up with this Bann 11 strap or NPEA straps on them. Some have a green collar and some have a brown collar. It's okay but expensive if you want a prop from the film.
