    Picked the silver color HJ proficiency badge up today from a very reputable dealer , very happy with it. Maker marked M1/101 , for Gustav Brehmer.

    Am now looking for the bronze badge and then the 2 DJ proficiency awards as they would make a great display along with a few Jugend buckles which i plan do do very soon.

    Looks good !

    As you probaly know its a reissued badge hence the 'B' mark

    I did Read that the B meant a re-issue but have never understood what that meant as ofcourse it is a period item , so would like to know what the re-issue is all about if possible.

    It means the owner either lost the original or wanted a second one.

    there was only one level of proficiency badge for the DJ (and also for the Jungmadel). There were three levels for HJ and two for bdm.

    I always thought there were 3 levels of single sig rune dj badges too - Iron class , bronze class & silver class? , not talking about the marksman badge.

    No, only one level of DJ proficiency badge and only one level of DJ shooting badge.
