NS Studentenbund Sports Insignia

NSDStB, National Socialist Deutscher Studentenbund, (National Socialist German Students League) sports shirt insignia with rzm tag. I couldn't resist buying this one, the eagle seems so majestic and impressive. I also have two pins from this organization.

Nice find. Nice set-up for display. At first, I thought that you had the front-load shadow box opened, and the new addition placed against the glass. But, under magnification, I can see that the box is shut and you have the new addition standing behind it. Cool effect.. / That pin with the rising sun and Swastika, I plan on adding one of those into my collection in the future. They are really, really nice. I see them pop up for sale every now and again. Proper name escapes me....

Hey, thanks' for the heads up on the pin. It's something that I would have blindly bought, thinking that there is really no need for research. Guess you have to be vigilant with every darn thing I will keep this in mind when beginning to hunt for mine.

Also, great link. I love all of the close-up shots from your HJ collection. Amazing. Without doubt, that one RZM tag, on the orange circle, with the single bolt, is the most pristine tag I have ever seen! You could literally just sell the tag on its own! Absolute, beautiful, mint condition! I tried to copy the image to post here so you knew which one I was talking about, but for some reason, the image cannot be saved. I believe it is called / Hitler Youth Sleeve Patch? /

You know what I would do, if the tag was easily removable? I would have it blown up to poster size and then frame it

HJ Sig Rune sleeve patch, I bought that from an old collection being liquidated on ebay years ago for about $50. You can still find them in unused condition for a decent price.
