Yes, I wonder what such a flag was used for i.e. what type of vehicle (if a vehicle at all) and perhaps why those town names are on there.

I think its a flag used by hitler youth or BDM and it sticks in top of a tent. The written words a all german cities and according my records in all these cities it was an annual meeting. So they write their attendance on the flag.

it is a tent flag for a hj lager (camp) this is sometimes seen on food tents or information tents as sometimes ther where meetings of different citys for sport games or adventure holydays of some sort then they addet all citys who meet there on a flag, nice flag
