Top dollar Ger, a very nice looking messer..You have done very well again, I agree with you about the engraving on the top of the handle!! adds a certain to the knife..pity there isn't more information about the boy/man,would of been nice to research him..find out more about the owner...but a very nice looking still,thanks for posting the photos. That is a really nice early example, and the inscription is alot more beautiful then the one on mine! I wonder how many thousands of roberts were in the HJ, no tracing this one lol

Nice find Gerrit!! These early tiger HJs seem to have a deeper etch compared to other makers. Very Nice.
