Early Tiger HJ Fahrtenmesser with Motto and the Owners name on top of the Hilt!

This is my latest catch a very early Tiger HJ Knife.
Nice deeply etched Motto and makersname with the Ges.gesch. logo!
Blade has some grey spots, but leather ( with bubble print!) and snap are in great condition.
It has the typical thin blade and small Diamond.
Scabbard is the early type which is black anodized.
1 of the scabbard springs still has its originl cotton jacket!
But what makes this a very special knife is the engraving on top of the Hilt!
Never seen that done so beautiful.

Top dollar Ger, a very nice looking messer..You have done very well again, I agree with you about the engraving on the top of the handle!! adds a certain to the knife..pity there isn't more information about the boy/man,would of been nice to research him..find out more about the owner...but a very nice looking still,thanks for posting the photos. That is a really nice early example, and the inscription is alot more beautiful then the one on mine! I wonder how many thousands of roberts were in the HJ, no tracing this one lol
