Hello again.
Here's one I'm thinking of bidding on. What do you think ?
Best regards.

I don't like it. It looks like the scabbard has a lip, and the grip plates don't fit well! Those are signs of a bad HJ knife. Just my observations.
I see no lip, but you're right about the the grip plates...
I have asked for better pics of the diamond...
I actually like it. Remember that these knives originally sold
for the equivalent of about $3.50..........
Regards,
Steve.
I dont see a lip either but the knife seems to be ill fitting to the scabbard ie doesnt go all the way down which may be giving that impression, the HJ lozenge needs a clearer shot as the top portion seems to be either damaged or colour faded
Looks ok.
Det ligner jo ens gamle spejderdolk. Var denne dolk oprindeligt designet til HJ for derefter at blive nærmest standard udrustning i de Danske spejderkorps?
Looks like my old boyscout dagger. Does anyone knows if this knife was originally designed for HJ?
Genuine early hj knife & scabbard By Anton Wingen Jr
the griplate fit is typical for this maker & nothing to worry about
apart from the small crack which is no big deal, also the hj daimond insignia
is genuine .
