The sheath is a repro, it shouldn't have the ridge at the opening.
This style of sheath is only on post-war knives, they produced this style well into the 1970's. Many were converted into HJ knives.
The stamps are very poorly done, I think the whole thing is a fake, but wait for other opinions.

You are correct Chris and also including that the sheath has a lip on the entry point of the scabbard which originals do not.

Agree. This is probably a post war "scout knife" (which did have a diamond insigna on grip) that's been converted to HJ. The scabbard is the most obvious red flag, but the blade shape at the tip and width of ricasso seem odd as well. The numbers stamped on the ricasso also look bad.
