Hello an original knife imo. Odd that there is no maker marks to be seen (very likely late war) but it looks right as rain to me. The scabbard also looks to be period original and matches the condition of the knife. Best regards.

I would agree with Brian. Unmarked late (1941-42) HJ knives did occur. The diamond therefore is a important area to scrutinize and seems original to the grip plate, no sign of glue or odd things going on.
Probably had the ink RZM M7/12 stamp on it that wares off easily
not a bad hj knife all the same
