Heres My M7/36 E&F Hörster, Solingen With Solid Red/Opaque Enamel Daimond Insignia,

Seldom Seen, Some Collectors Dont Like Them But I & Many Other Old Timers Do, Long Story, Lol

Roughly Dates From 1940 - 1942, No Motto, Daimond Wiggles Nicely With Unmessed With Rivets Ect

Guys Here Is a Loose Silver Hj Knife Daimond, Stamped RZM M1/101 Gustav Brehmer, Markneukirchen.

Note The 2 Long Thin Tangs That When Bent Over Holds The Daimond Tight Into The Griplate, "See Pic"

This Lets You Know What A Genuine Hj Knife Daimond Looks Like Out Of The Griplate For Referance

I hope i can add something.

Here is a small diamond from my Pack HJ.
You can see little different bending than on knife Scott showed.
And some pictures of diamonds.
First is a small diamond with RZM on one side and #15 on other side.
Second is also small with BONN GES GESCH and HOFFSTATTER.
Third is large RZM M1/92
Fourth is large RZM M1/8
And the last one without the prongs is RZM M1/66

Thanks For Showing Your Various Selection Of Hj Knife Daimonds

Its really interesting to see how the daimond prongs/tangs are fitted on the E.Pack spanners/nuts hj knife

Were they all fitted this way on the Pack spanners/nuts i.e: Bent over like you show?

Seeing in the above posts the way some of the Diamonds are attached to the grip its easy to understand that lots of them do not wiggle at all.

If you have had a worker who seriously bended the prongs with force the Diamond could be tight as hell in the gripplate!

Another point is sometimes the daimond is an exact tight fit into the griplate daimond shape recess with no room for movement along with tightly bent over prongs making the daimond solid with no movement or wiggle.
