HI they want $80 for it but i can bargain. The insignia is missing and they dont know that it is but i spotted it. is it real sorry for the bad pics. it has a 57 on one side and a oval maker mark with some letters and says germany under it. thanks if you can help.

As i understand it anything that looks like 3rd reich and has Germany printed in English on it is either fake or a tourist replica

That is not quite correct...You will come across Nazi-era items that were designed for export that are marked "DRGM", or "Germany". I have Nazi books from the Eher Verlag publisher marked 1939 "Printed in Germany". I'm sure there are more such examples out there. If it's marked "W-Germany", stay away.
