One guy wants to sell me HJ dagger.. The short blade on pictures was already sold!
Length of the dagger: 21.5 cm & 25.5 cm
Is this fake or original?
I don't have any more pictures..
Thanks!

"Rostfrie" means rust free (stainless steel) and to my knowledge the only maker that used that mark was SMF on gravity knives. In answer to you question. I would not walk away from these. I would run
postwar scrap
Sorry guys, but the top one looks okay to me.
The short one is a repro for sure, but the longer top one needs some more looking at in my opinion. Could be the real thing.
Hello Markoni, this is a late post but both are fakes. The small ones were never made. The large one has a odd lip on scabbard and should be straight cut. There also should be a small rivet on front of the scabbard which holds an insert so the blade dont rattle when incerted. It also has a huge snap. Also, Ive never heard of an HJ blade being made of stainless steel. You probably have learned of these things by now but if not...it may help in the future.
Cheers, Edwin
i agree that both are fakes,,,
