I think that it looks period. But the mirror like blade polish with some signs of pitting(?) and corrosion on the rivets etc. I think could have a bearing on what a purchaser might be looking for. Or is this expected for a later vintage HJ knife by Eickhorn (not corrosion which is normal - but the combination)? Regards, Fred
Heres my double marked eickhorn youth knife for comparison. Condition is poor but its original lol.

The blade has been heavily polished to get rid of the pitting.
Nice RZM diamond and steel rivets, as Mac stated nice Original.
#Matty, about you knife would you show us some detailed pics of the scabbard?
Im missing the spring rivet on the front, and that aint a good sign.
The knife indeed is ok, but i have to get a better view on the scabbard.
