Original HJ Knife by Ernst Pack & Sohne nice to see with the bayonet style grip screws & eagle head shaped pommel
could be me but it appears to have been shortened to my eyes (or not as the case my be) ,never the less original,Regards ,Paul
It has been sharpened on the curved point and not so much along the full edge. My assumption is it was used for a utility knife at some point in it's life. Certainly a hand sharpen job that ended up wearing off the engraving. It's still fairly sharp.
Thanks for the info!

A very nice example of a Pack HJ which were a little bit different in every feature, as was Pack's habit. These are very collectable, the flower motive button suggests early 1930's, nice "browned" scabbard, you can see why the Packmen are crazy about these knives.

Thanks for the welcome and info. The name is a stab at self deprecating humor on the spelling of my name Odom.

Beautiful example and pretty hard to find in these days, congrats

The blade on this Pack (Spanner & nuts) hj knife is short & has been sharpened !
apart from that its a great piece & a highly sought after type to the hj knife collector.
