Hi Joe, can only tell you what these pics show me without being detailed.
The hilt of the knife has the typical wear caused by the snap closure.
The scabbard rivet on the front is there, the rivet on the scabbard hanger is a bit up high, but seen that before.
Looks like it has the alu grip rivets, common on the rzm knives.
at first sight no big red flags.
Try to get some detailed pictures from the back, also from the scabbard en the grip, then we tell you more....

I was getting outbid on everything at the auction - one bidder especially had deep pockets - so when the HJ knife came up I bid and got it but hopefully did not go too high for its condition and hopefully legit.
After I got home I verified through forum threads and the Lakesidetrader site that is so often spoken highly of that I believe I at least got a real one. I personnaly like a worn been there condition but not sure how value is impacted. Knife has initials scratched into scabbard and on pommel along with a faint name scratched in pommel - maybe US vet that got it? Please take a look -

Hi Joseph ,, Check out this link which is the same RZM code as your dagger. It is the same logo style as yours. I feel you have done well with this and I hope you did not bid too high. For sure Paul Lakesidetrader,, has some great reference photos and a great collection of HJs for future investment. Although the thread link below was started by a now banned member,, our resident HJ dagger specialist Mac 66 gives a thumbs up for this maker.

I paid $150 plus tax for total of $160.00.
