    found this one this past week; other than the guard being bent I think its nice. Telling myself it got bent being thrown by a youth....I think if I attempt to bend back it would snap off. It has M7/19 1940 on the hilt/ricasso and is maker marked on the blade. i do not see any signs of a motto.

    An unusual bird. It has transitional markings/characteristics but dated 1940? Perhaps left over stock used at a later date? It certainly looks period. Just a curious case. But I like it.

    A very nice "camp veteran" no doubt. The double marking is interesting.
