I have owned over 100 hj knifes in my time & had a good few knifes that had the solid red daimond insignia properly inserted into the griplate with the required wiggle or movement, some of the daimonds had a speckled affect through the red in the daimond, also i have seen many for sale on dealers sites over the years & the same goes for hj pin badges with the solid red in them, there are many collectors out there who think they are repros but have no proof to prove this story.

The swastika in the fake one is a little 'fuzzy' to my morning eyes, whereas the genuine is sharp. I believe the one I posted is sharp too. Do I have a good one then?
    Cheers,
    Al

alikat, does the daimond have a wiggle/movement to it in the griplate?, sometimes they have been glued into position so this is why i ask this question, by the looks of it i would say its a good late solid red daimond imo.
