Looks like a re-worked knife from the 1960's or 70's, with a repainted
original scabbard - especially with the word 'GERMANY' stamped
on the ricasso.........

its a copy, agree with Steve all the way.
The Motto side of the blade will never be marked with a makers logo, place or country name on its ricasso.
RZM or maker will always be stamped/etched on the back of the blade.

Definitely a Post War Made hj Knife,
Sometimes they used some leftover origional parts to construct these knifes,
Save your cash for an origional hj knife.

Hi Lazer,,,Good advice has been offered,, and with that you will learn the differences on what is fake and authentic. Sometimes its hard to digest at first,, but you came to the right place to get your answers. Hey guys, the info is GREATLY APPRECIATED. Once again you never let me down. Glad to pick up some info on this new subject matter so I can keep learning and be able to do things proper all the while saving my money.

It is a fake,as stated above it has Germany on the blade.
