    Nice tease Gerrit,, but please save it for another thread,,you dont want to mar that beauty with this thread topic!

    I feel if these Olympic HJs were giveaways and was quite expensive as Stag is not cheap,,so to mass produce these as trinket memorabilia would of cost more to produce,, and 1936 was within the transitional period of downsizing material usage. This topic was not even addressed in the recent compilation of information produced in Ralf Siegerts NPEA/ HJ reference. There are plain bladed versions black grips and the same style blade,,but no reference at all to the 1936 Olympics. Regards Larry

    Since the majority of WW2 photos are mainly in black and white,,.....to help with authenticity,, I enhanced the desirability of the Olympic HJ knife. This photo should put everyones mind at ease that now it is quite authentic!
