Transistional Klaas 1936 HJ knife

This is a quite interesting knife by Klaas.
Being marked on the ricasso on both sides, as we know very little done.
It has a lot of features of an early knife:
It has an early anodised scabbard with one inside spring.
It has a wiggling small diamond, and of course a deeply etch motto.
The nice thing about Klaas is the fact that they made so many different configurations of the 1936 knives, lacquered or anodised scabbard, nickel and alu rivets etc.
This one is in great addition and came out an old German collection, i had the luck to pick up 4: 2 early thinblades and 2x a 1936 one.
I got an almost mint early thinblade by Gustav Spitzer, and one by Klaas with the second production deeply etched Motto ( the initial Motto was very shallow)
The ricasso 1936 knives are by Klaas and Voos.

Great knife Ger. The early transitional knives are really interesting as the companies sorted out how they were going to use the ricasso for marks. That one has got everything you might want in a HJ knife.
