Very Late Hitler Youth Knife (RZM M7/13) - Arthur Schuttlehöfer

This is about as late as they come, you can see that by looking at the gripplates fit, i picked it up yesterday.
Great undamaged RZM diamond (25x15mm) nicely wiggling in the grip plate.
Pot metal (zinq alloy) hilt, snap wear on hilt, some chrome lifting on the back.
Both knife and scabbard have been cleaned along the way once.
The blade is a typical late ricasso with stamped RZM mark, it has 1 little nick.
The scabbard has the double inside spring, both still present.
On the back in the upperpart of the leather strap is still visible where the knife once was attached to the wall.

Nice pick up Gerrit!! Arthur Schuttlehoffer is one of those makers that made good solid quality knives from the early period all the way to the end of the late period. This maker is a great investment to have in anything they produced. Regards Larry

Nice condition RZM M7/13 with a good amount of plating left on the hilt

I,ve owned several different makers of these later produced hjs with Zinc made hilt
