    a Württemberg M95/14 out of 1916, unknow maker. zinc-plated steal body and alpaca Medallion.

    and now a saxon M1866 (format like the Prussian M1847, but introduced in 1866)

    very rare alpaca version with brass medallion. hallmark "Scholz" and Unitstamp 12.P.3.C.II = Königlich Sächsiches Pionierbataillon Nr.12, 3. Compagnie, II Garnitur.

    In order of the "Bekleidungsvorschrift 2.Teil / Königreich Sachsen" from 1893
    only the pioneer and the chaser units wore alpaca Buckles (later more units gets alpaca buckles...but this are the M95)
    This buckles in the origin not have a leather-tap (...you can read in the Bekleidungsvorschrift)

    here a scare Modell 1889 of the "Leibriemenschloss für Marineinfanterie und die Schutztruppen in Afrika" (buckle for the marines and the protectionforce in Afrika)
