Hello All.
I haven't had much to post in the way of Imperials lately but here is an interesting new piece. Seemingly a rather ordinary M1895 Prussian, however very interestingly marked on the reverse. Even more interesting, I have not been able to identify this "PS" or "SP" marking in any references.
If anyone has an opinion on this buckle, marking and the possible maker I'd be very interested and appreciative!
Best,
Adam
PS ist a very known maker... you can also find this mark on M15 buckles. It ist the hallmark auf Paul Schumacher.

Here is one of my buckles.
Chip, it's difficult for me to understand why your steel Naval buckle did not elicit any response here. It certainly is a super find. George

Re: Imperial German Buckles.
Forums vary. You do tend to see the same people, who perhaps have seen this buckle on another forum. Other than that, I really don't know. This is one of the better examples of this buckle that I have ever seen, so you would think.....
It does make one wonder if there is any reason to post others.

Re: Original Imperial German Wurtemburg steel belt buckle?
Other than the condition, it looks fine to me.
