Hi Chaps, here's some highlights of my brass & nickel Prussian 1895's a promiced.

This one has been laquered for parade purposes (I presume). Maker marked Sattler Jnnung, Berlin & dated 1914.
I've included a postcard of a private of the 4th Guards R. (Konigin Augusta Garde-Grenadier Regiment) based in Berlin, wearing this type of buckle. The back of the card it noted "In rememerance of 21 April 1915" presumably the date he was killed in action.

    Cheers,

    Richard.

This one's got smaller roundal. I've been told it was used by cadets.

    This one is nicely stamped on the body to J.C. S & S - J.C. Schmal & Schultz, Wuppertal/Barman.

Hi Rob, glad you like them. Yeah, I can't remember seeing a Imperial buckle marked on the body. Very unusual, Cheers, Richard.

Hi Chaps, here's my steel 1916 pattern Prussian buckles. First up a painted example made by Sopalla, Gleiwitz (now in Poland), dated 1916.
