Identified as follows:
Up for auction is a German Baden Officer visor cap, which is made of field-gray wool, and piped with green wool piping. The cap features a black leather visor and chinstrap, with a set of officer's kokarden, one Reich and one Baden. The cap is fully lined with gray polished cotton and a gray leather sweat band. This inside lining bears the makers name of "F.S. Wolter Stuttgart"
(hat appears Freikorps to me).
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
Feldgrau Officer:
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
WÜRTTEMBERG w/ leather peak:
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
Nice Bavarian feldgrau in doeskin.

“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
The "/" slash was used during the imperial period in military books and documents in unit designations. It was not typically used in period unit marking stamps, however, though I have seen it hand written in items many times.
Flegrau for an Infantry officer from Waldeck. Oxide-green visor.
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
NCO w/ strap:
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
Has much patina and character.
