Please id prussian visor cap

Article about: Hi, could someone help in ID this hat. It was sold as an Artillery or Reservist Prussian cap. Is that correct? Is it authentic? If so, how much is it worth? Thanks!

Wow! Thanks. It seems there isn't much reference for most of the hats. I understand the cross is for reservist, isn't it?

The thread Wagriff referenced is for Veteran's visors prior to 1914.
Before and during WW1, there were a number of non-active duty reservists, and they wore the Iron Cross on their cockade to signify their status.
Your hat would be for such a reservist.

This thread has additional examples of Technical Troops visors:

The Dunkelblau (dark-blue) were worn before the war:

“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
