Awesome display, Adler! The mannequins look great. Superb job on that. Really nice!

I like the Landwehr Kavallerie display a lot. Amazing uniform.
    I checked it out recently.
Its just that your collection is breathtaking and we are used to trench armour and fantastic parade helmets with eagles on top.
Checking out this thread is like a collectors wet dream and is almost like an overdose of relics (if such a thing is possible.....and I think it is!)

Out of genuine curiosity, do you have a plan for your collection in the future? Are you going to place it in trust with a museum to keep it all together or will you pass it on to somebody?
I must say I would be very sad to see such a fine collection broken up.

And just offside, do you have all these things insured?

I think everybody has some kind of plan, but for now I'm not thinking about museums or selling everything seperately... Insurance? Of course...

A while ago I took the mannequin with wax head to display the LHR1 uniform at its best, so I had to reorganize things a bit... I put the Drillichjacke on a buste with a EM belt, Luger holster, lanyard for a Luger, Demag trench knife and camo helmet... Hope you like this display as well gentlemen...

What it was... What it became... Still looking good...

This collection is unbelievable, Adler. One could comment on every item individually but it would take forever. I love the rows of pickelhaubes and I really like the WWI doughboy medic uniform. WWI US uniforms have grown on me recently. You make very good use of all space in the room. If you ever need to part with a WWI German camouflage helmet let me know, I need one and have yet to find one that meets my requirements.
    Looking for:

    1) A court mounted EKII
    2) M42 of no collector value, bare steel if possible. Liner and liner bands not needed.
    3) Monetary donations towards my purchase of an SS helmet
