    Just picked this up at an estate auction in a rural town. No one knew what it was except me, and I didn't know if it was real at the time, but after hearing some feedback from others, I think its legit. Likely issued right at the end of the Franco-Prussian War or shortly thereafter to the 3rd Garde Grenadiers who were in enemy territory at the Siege of Paris.
