    Gents,

Here is another one that I obtained many moons ago when I was a lot younger. This is a cross made by the firm: Paul Hossbauer, Berlin. The cross itself seems lighter and the frame looks and feels like it is of a different metallurgic compound. I'm interested to see if there is anyone else who owns a like cross to see their findings. Maybe late war when certain metals were getting scarce or just a unique frame to distinguish this manufacturer's work? The mystery continues...

Strange cross Joel, i have never seen one like this before, but nevertheless i still like it, maybe just because that strange look. They are actually, all of them, beautiful to me.
    Best regards, Franko

It looks very similar to a KO.
I think that there is still some debate over who "H" actually was.

Hi Greg, maybe its just because light conditions, but this cross looks very different comparing it to my KO.
    Best regards, Franko

The frame is different. Sorry, I realized that the angle of the photo in combination with the sunlight has shaded parts of the core after posting.

Right. Firma Hossauer did no more exist during the WW1. Wernitz attributes H marked crosses to Ferdinand Hofstätter in Bonn.
