Nice addition! Their seems to be a lot of unknown makers out there
-
TheGoon,
There are certainly many out there that still baffle us.. That just makes for more intrigue in collecting them. Thank you for your kind words!

I bought two recently, their very addicting!

Tis a slippery slope......

I don't know who made the LV marked crosses but I have seen
examples marked LV11, LV12, LV22, LV25, LV29, LV57
So now we can add LV10 and LV89 to the list.

I was addicted to the "Hokey-Pokey" but I've turned
myself around.

Greg,
I thank you for your input. This is definitely the first of my collection with the numeric component and I'm going to have to look into the other numbers to see if they all have a common theme as to having the same cores and traits.

My little knowledge on the subject indicates that LV stands for: LV (mit und ohne Zahl)-Lieferungsverband für Eiserne Kreuze

thecyclist64,
I thank you for your input and duly noted. Now gents, we note to post more of these to compare their traits.

Very nice EK Joel. I have only just purchased a nice LV11 a couple of weeks ago. I must take some pictures of it and post.
