hello i have an opportunity to buy an attached bayonet but i dont know is it a german service model ar one of the similiar export products?the maker is simson i co suhl on the back of the blade are markings W and 87

edit on the last photo are regimental markings,if someone can associate them to some unit i will be greatfull

W- is weimar republic or Kaiser Wilhelm
87- i its year 1887

u have same bayonet with same markings (w87) on world bayonets - Bayonets of Imperial Germany 1871-1918

one more question with the regimental markings
hardly visible but i decoded it for as-1.M.G.K. L.I.R.3.111(or L.I.B)
did You know what this means?or know some good webpage with the unit markings?

that are German Unit Bayonet Markings and u have example on the same page I gave you...

i think 1.M.G.K.- is 1MG battalion but i hope that someone will explain better.
