8mm ww1 ammo? please help id!

hey fellas! i just came back from a militaria show and picked up some real nice goodies!

i bought 5 pieces of 8mm surplus ammo on stripper clips that i cant identify. can anyone help? i was told they are ww1 1918 ammo.....

All I can really make out of the headstamp is an 18... can you post what you think the headstamp says?

is the stripper clip a period correct item? it almost looks like a ww2 one but without the serial numbers
