I was addicted to the "Hokey-Pokey" but I've turned
myself around.
The Bayo is made by Mauser and is dated 1915 on the spine.
The sheath is unmarked except for the imperial crown
acceptance mark.
The frog is marked Hohmann & Sohn, Kaiserlautern 1915
There are no unit marks anywhere on the set.

There's nothing wrong with a bit of rough! And I agree with you, it does have a certain appeal to it! I've seen an awful lot worst!

The wood grips and the aged frog IMO makes it very collectable. Who said History had to be Mint to collect it? Thanks for postingRegards Larry
