    Gentleman, here for your enjoyment....1914 Ersatz felt (compressed rabbit fur!) Prussian Pickelhaube. This example is fitted out with brass hardware, later 1915 models sported the grey subdued hardware as on the M15 Pickelhaube, some versions of this helmet came with rear spines & visor trims, some without. The fragile nature of these helmets makes them rare, especially when in complete condition, this helmet has never had the visor trim fitted, despite the trim fastners being present !

    Very, very nice Steve! What's the Imperial collecting community like in the UK? Are Imperial items very much sought after?

    wow, thats in great condition! The ones around here are all in very poor condition
