    Prussian Garde Feld artillerie, officers helmet I would say.
    The star-screws can be find separatly.

    The only marks inside is the date,30-8-16, also pic. of inside, not very thrilling. John.

    Indeed a pitty! But it seems a honest helmet. Where about is thise date and is it stamped or written!
    Always looking for Belgian Congo stuff!

    Maybe it's not so good condition but you can always display a helmetcover on this haube because the shape of the shell is still good...
    A date in a private purchase pickelhaube?... where is that located and can you show a picture of that?

    Adler[/QUOTEWhy in heck would I want to cover this helmet up with a cover , there is nothing wrong with it as it is. A good honest helmet. As for the date, perhaps it is the date it was captured and no I cannot get a decent picture of the date. John.
