Bavarian Regalia

Recent find a very nice Bavarian cavalry Officers sword with folding guard, the blade(no maker mark) is etched on both sides as is the spine, in addition one side reflects "6 Ehren Rgt Prinze Albrecht v Preussen" the other side reflects the Bavarian motto"In Treue Fest" - the blade is in beautiful shape, it still has its buffer and a nice aged Bavarian portepee. The scabbard reflects its age with approx. 90% blacking.
Along with the sword came a Bavarian field Artillery Officers spiked helmet worn from 1886-87 till 1916, the helmet has the original rosettes ,fluted spike which rests on the cross base secured with gilt stars & the gilt Bavarian front plate. The interior has its full liner. Beautiful combination.
