    These "cut out" badges are a WW1 variant, but i don't like this one as the detail is quite poor.

    Hello Andreas
    This hinge & pin setup will be seen on numerous dodgy Ebay & Ioffer type Verwundetenabzeichen.
    Send this one back. It is no good. This is not the type of hardware that you will find on authentic
    period examples.

    hi , i would send it back if you can , apart from the reverse hardware not being a period type , this badge looks to be cast . not something i have ever seen before . all i have encountered have been die/struck hollow type ....pavel

    Looks to be in the same fake league . ie strange pin and the rear is a cast not sharply defined as you see on the stamped examples .
