Brass EK2 ?

Article about: I've been told that they were a Navy issue EK . Its two piece construction , I replaced the ribbon and the ring both were missing . I just want to see what you think of it . Cheers

    The Navy theory is a myth....during and after the Great War EK's were made from a variety of metals both ferrous and non-ferrous, including brass, they were given a silver wash, which looks to have mostly gone on yours....
