    Ive got 4 old possibly brass, possibly German buttons, I have no idea what they are or where they came from, does anybody have a clue. have put 2 pictures in buttons album, and they look like they have a cannon on the front, and german writing on the back, please help!!

    Hi Barnesy, welcome to the forum!

    I have added the pics to your post for ease of viewing for the forum membership.

    The buttons are not Third Reich in origin. What they are for I do not know, sorry. The cannon motif is usually associated with the artillery branch of service in most armies.

    Hi, Barnesy, these buttons are Austro-Hungarian artillery, WW I.
