can you ID this skull? Hussar or Uhlan?

Off ebay 12 years ago, bout 100 bones 'cause I like skulls. Appears to be made of stamped brass, no maker marks.

Curious as to what this is, and how rare it may me along with estimated value. Kind of large so first pic has a (repro) EC1 for size comparison.
