    DEUTSCHLAND MAY DASH OUT FRIDAY

NEW LONDON (Conn.), Nov. 6. Captain Koenig of the German submarine merchantman DEUTSCHLAND, which arrived here Wednesday, indicated yesterday that he would make his homeward dash Friday — probably late in the afternoon. The gang of negro stevedores worked all day loading a cargo of crude rubber and nickel; the DEUTSCHLAND'S crew was engaged in overhauling the engines and five mechanics from an local shipyard practically completed the work of tightening rivets on the craft's bow. which had become loosened by tossing in the high seas on the way over.

Captain Koenig yesterday visited the submarine base and later conducted Commander Sterling and his officers through the DEUTSCHLAND. Fourteen members of the German Embassy at Washington came here yesterday and greeted the DEUTSCHLAND'S captain and crew aboard the liner WILLEHAD.

    New London Expects DEUTSCHLAND Soon

NEW LONDON, Conn. Jan. 16. -- Twenty-five negro stevedores from Baltimore have arrived at the docks of the Eastern Forwarding Company here. Their arrival has given rise to reports that the German submarine DEUTSCHLAND would make another trip to this port soon. Officers of the forwarding company said, however, that no submarine was expected until the early spring.

The stevedores had been employed at Baltimore when the DEUTSCHLAND made her maiden voyage there last summer. These same stevedores were brought to New London last November to handle the undersea boat's cargo.

The beer stein was made in 2000. It comes from a series which called "Meilensteine der Postbeförderung", means milestones of post transportation. The round silvermedal is also from a series with the same name. The stamp and the silvermedal are made 999/1000 silver.

Claas, Have you seen any of these steins 'resurface' and offered for sale since they were produced in the year 2000? They appears as if they might have been a very limited production.
