Can anybody identify the country to which this crown belongs ?
It is stamped on a leather pouch attached to 55mm wide brown leather belt which has a brass plain open style buckle with a locking hook type connector ?

Didnt German ww1 belt buckles have a crown in the center?
Maybe this is a German ww1 ammo pouch?
Wait ive just seen a thread about a Swedish mauser and they also used the crown so my guess is either German or Swedish
Impossible to identify by that kind of crown ...I think.
But the L could stand for Ludwig, like seen on the "raupenhelm" so it could make it Bavaria.
When I say "type of crown"; I mean the crown does not seem a royal crown to me but more like a duchy's crown, so Lichtenstein and Luxemburg could be a answer...
Possible that the type of crown does not matter when marking a leather pouch...??
Thanks so far .....
I've managed to get some new batteries for my camera, .. so here's some shots of the buckle assembly (front and rear), .. and the pouch itself.
Cheers

Now hat is a royal crown!! I had a different idea as the first picture is not that clear. But I am afraid that I can not tell you more.
hi, i have a very simular pouch which i'm trying to reserch, did you find out anything in the end ? thanks jed
The crown looks very similar to ones that are on Air ministry equipment. Also the brass fittings look to be British or British India. John.
I'm not an expert, but it is certainly not German... As John stated; it looks very Brittish to me also...
