    Hello, all!

My father gave me this medal which was found by one of the workers at our recycling facility. Unfortunately, it was not found until AFTER it went through the grinder. I assume that is how the ribbon and suspension ring were lost.

    1. Is this EKII authentic? If so, can anyone determine the maker?

    2. Is this EKII repairable? If so, can anyone help me accomplish the repair?!

    THANKS SO MUCH IN ADVANCE!

Dang Joe, the stuff your plant turns up is amazing!!
Sure looks kosher to me ..... I would imagine a jeweler would be able to do the repair with a new jump ring.

Thanks for the kind words, gents! If anyone could hold my hand during the repair process, I'd greatly appreciated it! I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to this...

It has character I would keep it as is IMO.

I have to agree with Eric, looks well enough to display in its current condition. Good catch

Personally, I would leave it be. But if you decide to have it repaired, almost
any jeweler should be able to solder on a new ring.

I totally agree - leave it as is. I've contemplated a new ring for this one,
but it really wouldn't be worth it. You can find WWI EKII's for $45-$75.

I would agree too, leave as is.

Nice find. I cannot help on the maker.

    Cheers, Ade.
