The 'Heartfelt sympathy' card is interesting. I've never seen one.

The EK looks good, but I think the ribbon is a replacement
tied/formed into an unusual bow, which appears to be
the size used for ribbon bars. Medals with ribbon
bows are usually reserved for women.
    Regards,

    Steve.

I'm no expert on ribbons (or anything else for that matter) but
I think I agree with Steve. The ribbon looks to be a replacement.

I have seen photos of a wedding where the groom's tuxedo had
a cross with a ribbon bow on it.

Hi Guys thanks for your replies. To the best of my knowledge the ribbon was tide up like this because it was meant for the widow of the fallen soldier. Honestly i cannot tell if it's a replacement or not. My concerned was focused on the card
If that is an original too then i'm very happy with the set.

Thanks Paul. Maybe Steve knows more about this since he is mainly an imperial collector.
