It resembles the Kurzes Seitengewehr 98 (which did have a sawback).

Some had the saw ground off. Often the blade-back on modified bayonets will be concave and sometimes you can see the remains of a diagonal groove across the blade-back where the grinding was a bit sloppy.

The KS was 386mm long - the blade was 254mm.

If it isn't a KS98 then it will be one of the various dress/private purchase/walking out bayonets produced by the Germans based on the KS98 design.

    Hope this helps.

BTW - are there any markings ?

The KS98 was issued to the German forces between 1901 and the end of WW1.

The dress bayonets inspired by the design were sold during WW1 to the end of WW2.

Shame there are no markings - we shall never know !
