Very nice Martin!
You can never go wrong with a Godet.

Searching for anything relating to, Anton Boos, 934 Stamm. Kp. Pz. Erz. Abt. 7, 3 Kompanie, Panzer-Regiment 2, 16th Panzer-Division (My father)
That's a great cross with a nice looking patina on the silver frame.
Like Ralph said, you can never go wrong with Godet. The quality of Godet
made crosses is evident once you compare them "in Hand"
Thanks for posting it, I look forward to seeing the others.

I was addicted to the "Hokey-Pokey" but I've turned
myself around.
A very nice cross indeed Martin
The WWI period is becoming more populr and I don't believe it has anything much to do with historical interest provoked by the 100 year anniversary or the price of WWII stuff.
These points may have prompted some motivation but I think it has more to do with the realisation that everything in those days was made "properly" rather than urgently and now they show their quality with age
Thanks for showing.

Mark
"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing he cares more about than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature with no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."
Martin,
What a welcome addition to your collection. Godet made crosses are one of the finest produced.
Cheers,
Joel
Thank you so much guys!
When I saw this cross I immediately thought Godet... this cross must I have.
Now that I think about it, I think it was Wilko who sowed a little seed in my head to look a bit extra on these crosses.
And as written here, the age really shows up on these crosses, really very nice patina on these and the fact that really nice WW2 crosses are getting harder to get hold of increases my interest in the Great War crosses.
Best regards
Martin
That is a beautiful example.

Martin,
Your pictures are wonderful and really bring out the makers marks...
Thank you for sharing with us. I have several EK2's that I will have to check to see if I have a Godet made example... Thank you again..

Thank you so much guys I really appreciate it.
Best regards

Another real beauty there Martin. As all before me have said, a Godet cross is a must in any collection and they are of a very fine quality.
