Hi Guys, bought this on impulse at work as it was cheap!
The core has an old crack through it.
The ring is maker marked but is not distinct, may be "EW" ? Can anyone confirm?
Cheers, Ade.

Hi Ade,
It's a nice old cross with a sand cast core but I can't confirm that it's a EW.
At least it does not match any examples that I have on file. I will do some
digging and try to find a match. Is there any way to get a close up of the mark?
For close ups of very small details, sometimes I will scan the cross on my flatbed
document scanner with the resolution set to 300 or more.

I am not 100% confident about this one BUT I am pretty sure that it is
a KAG. I can not match the mark but I think I found a matching cross.

The obverser and reverse cores seem to match and the frame beading at the
inner corners on the front side seems to match.
No matter who made it, it's still a nice cross. I like the early cast core crosses.

Thanks Greg. At £22 I could not pass on it.
