    H folks,For your interest & further to my post yesterday ( Qsa & pip,squeak & Wilfred ) these are my mates other grandads medals , (My friends Mother was German, His Father a british soldier) EK 2 ,Verwundentenabzeichen schwartz, Das Ehrenkreuz das Weltskrieg ! notice they have the same patina as the british medals & were stored together (not very well) for along time.Cheers Paul

    EK is nice Carl Dilenius. Probably you will find mark CD 800 on the ring.

    Looks like square mark. It is seen mainly on EK1s and it is attributed (though without confirmation) to Carl Dilenius.
