Hi Roberto,
I like the cross and ribbon. I like the case to but
I really don't have much experience with cases.
Hopefully someone else might be of more help with it.
Have you tried spinning the ribbon ring to see if it
is maker marked at all ?

Hi Greg,
thanks for Your answer.
Yes, has rotated the ring, it doesn't have marks...
very nice EK, with mounted ribbon . There were no regulation cases per say, people had them made after the war with different inscriptions and colors. The wear and age look correct.

Thanks Morris,
I appreciate a lot your intervention.
A nice cross i believe this one is Austrian mounted.
Thanks Adam.
Nice cross.
Did you compared the size of this frame with EK 1939 ones? I guess it might be that this cross was made in IIIrd Reich era - those frames are couple of mm-s bigger!
I like the individual components but I can't say if they started life together. I do agree with Bruno about the possibility that the EK may be a TR produced piece though.
There is a severe frame misalignment as pointed out below and also quite a large die flaw as arrowed.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
