Im no expert but--I dont see anything wrong as it has good details. Just an opinion.

No problems for me either, it has some pleasing patina on the frame.

Looks ok from here as well. Most WWI Iron Cross cores are loose.
Grasp it by the ring and give it a little shake. You should be able
to feel it wobble.........
