I saw that one yesterday but figured there was no way I was going to win the auction with my limited funds...That's the oddest reverse hardware I've ever seen on an Imperial EKI...!
    cheers, Glenn

Thanks for the link, Ralph! Chopperman/Greg is definitely "The Man" to talk to regarding Imperial Eks...I wouldn't even consider buying any EK Variant without checking with him first...!
    cheers, Glenn

It was just, the mechanic looks very different from the KMST pictured in " iron times" , where it seems, that the mechanic is not supposed to come all apart, but just slide open and close !!

WOW, I am really humbled but you guys put way to much
faith in my opinion. Believe me when I say that I make my
    fair share of mistakes.

Now about that KMST style cross-----

Greg, you have a wonderful collection of WWI EK's - and likely
more variations than most of us - so your knowledgeable
    input is highly regarded.

A while back, I remember seeing a similar cross I thought
was good, but you set me straight as to the things about
this unique type of clasp that were incorrect.........
    Regards,

    Steve.

KMST has really nice hardwares, but completely different core than this one. This one is Godet core. So the cross is either Frankenstein, or club fake, IMO.
